Home > About Me
I help clients to transform their relationships, overcome difficulties and process what is unresolved. Through my training, experience and teachings, I bring to my work a deep empathy, wisdom, dedication and creativity to all my clients.
I am a registered member (MBACP) of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy, the leading UK body that sets the standards of excellence in therapeutic practice and ethical conduct. I earned my Postgraduate Diploma in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy and Counselling at The University of Brighton. I also attended The Minster Centre in London studying on their Integrative Psychotherapy programme before transferring to Brighton.
I also hold a Masters degree from Central School of Speech and Drama having previously trained and worked as a Movement Director in Film and Theatre. Before this I trained as a dancer at Trinity Laban which provided me with an unparalleled grounding in the language of movement providing valuable understandings of the body and somatics. My thesis was a creative exploration of the effects of PTSD on the bodies movement.
One of the key elements I bring to my work, is my deep understanding of relationships. I am the co-founder of a new retreat where couples deepen their relationship through working on their patterns of relating. We explore multi generational patterns, woundings, traumas and subsequent triggers. We consider how these experiences can affect the foundations of the relationship, causing implicit and explicit tensions.
